Linnunkoto™ Birdhouse Urn from Finland
Linnunkoto is both an urn for cremated ashes and a nesting place for birds after the memorial.
Linnunkoto is a beautiful choice in remembrance of a loved one in ceremony of the cycle of life.
The dignified design of the urn is timeless and well-kept can last for over a decade outside.
Inside the wooden urn there is a handmade biodegradable fabric urn you can select in either dark raw linen or in an embroidered traditional Karelian patter made of linen cotton.
Cremated ashes can either be scattered or buried in the fabric urn.
Linnunkoto is custom made for the bird of your choice in the traditional colour you select by Uula Color. The plastic-free, breathable paints are hand made in Finland.
There is a rope attached to the back of the urn making it easy to attach to a tree after the memorial.
The roof is detached allowing the fabric urn to be gently removed during ceremony.
There is a removable wooden separator halfway down the urn to create a snug nesting area for a bird family.
Spring clearning of the birdhouse urn is effortless due to the detachable roof and separator inside Linnunkoto.
